Dr. S.B Lokesh

Dr. S.B Lokesh has more than ten years of experience in the field of agricultural sciences and research. His areas of expertise include micro plots, women and land, income and nutrition, and affordable housing. Over the last decade, Dr. Lokesh has worked closely with leading agencies like the FAO, UNDP, the World Bank, and has also contributed to several key government initiatives in the field.

His areas of Expertise are rural development; training and capacity building support; agricultural development; research methods; project management; land administration; tenancy; women’s land rights.

Location has a Ph.D. in economics from Kuvempu University, Karnataka, India. He has done his masters in Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation from University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, India. His bachelors is in the agricultural sciences from University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, India.

Govind Kelkar

Govind Kelkar is Senior Advisor to Landesa in New Delhi, India. She is also Regional Council Member of Asia-Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development, Chiang Mai, Thailand. She has previously worked for UN Women, and taught at Delhi University, the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand. At AIT, Dr Kelkar founded the graduate program in Gender Development Studies and also the Gender, Technology and Development Journal, published by SAGE, India. Govind has worked extensively on gender and energy transition in rural Asia. She has contributed numerous articles to scholarly journals with a focus on gender relations in Asia and has been in close touch with women’s movements in the region. Her areas of expertise are Research Methods, Land Rights Formalization, Women’s Access and Rights to Land, Inheritance Law and Practice, Rural Development, Agricultural Development, Participatory Processes, Training and Capacity Building Support, Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, Gender and Energy and Gender and Information Technology

Vikesh Mahendroo

Vikesh Mahendroo is President and CEO of CLG and has over 25 years of international consulting and professional services experience with some of the world’s top firms. Vikesh is a trusted advisor to senior level executives who look to his expertise to help them create leadership strategies that achieve results and build successful cultures. Vikesh is a contributing co-author of the new book, The Behavior Breakthrough, released spring 2013. Prior to joining CLG, Vikesh served as President and CEO of Intrepid Learning Solutions. He also spent 22 years with Mercer (Human Resources Consulting), in several roles including Global Executive Vice President and President of U.S. Operations, Global Leader of Global Accounts, and chaired their Global Leadership Team and Worldwide Partners Group. In these roles, he also served as an executive sponsor for a number of Fortune 500 multi-national clients. He earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics from St. Stephens’s College, Delhi, India and an MBA from Columbia University. Early in his career, Vikesh served with distinction in the IAS (Indian Administrative Service) for eight years. Vikesh sits on several Boards, including those of Intrepid Learning Solutions and Landesa, a global land rights nonprofit.
