The Rural Development Institute (RDI) is working in partnership with four Indian states to help them provide land rights to their poorest citizens.

The states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, and West Bengal have all been pioneers in this field, to develop laws, institutions and programs to provide their poorest residents with the single most efficient tool in the fight against poverty – land rights. RDI has provided technical and advisory support to the states.

Their work is a model for other states and countries.
